JLA 80 Page Giant 2011

Bueno, pues ahí va por fin mi primer trabajo para DC! Son siete páginas del especial de la JLA (la Liga de la Justicia) en el que los superhéroes van al infierno. Mi historia, escrita por Adam Glass, tiene como protagonistas a Green Arrow y Ragman, que se encuentran en el círculo de la ira. Dibujado y coloreado por un servidor de ustedes!

DC Comics!!!

¿Cómo han ido las cosas tan rápido desde el Superman-Red Tornado que puse aquí hace unas semanas? Ni yo mismo lo sé, pero tras enviarles esa ilustración, en apenas unos días me llaman para decirme que voy a hacer siete páginas del especial JLA 80 Page Giant, escritas por Adam Glass, que espero subir pronto. Todo, lápiz, tintas y color. Increíble.
Y antes de entregar la última página me entero de que voy a hacer también el FLASHPOINT: DEADMAN & THE FLYING GRAYSONS, una miniserie de Flashpoint, el evento DC del año, escrito por J.T. Krul, y en el que parece que también haré todo, lápices, tintas y color. ¡Aún me tiemblan las piernas!
Me ha costado dos años, muchas páginas de muestra, trabajo e ilusión, pero lo he conseguido. Eso sí, no he estado solo.
Tengo que dar las gracias a mucha gente, principalmente a mi mujer Soraya, que ha sido mi principal motor y que me ha apoyado en todo. Y a mi hijo Mario, que aunque no se entera me da fuerza.
A mis padres, hermanos, suegros y cuñados, que nos han apoyado y echado un cable siempre que lo hemos necesitado.
A los que han creído en mí, mi agente Pepe Caldelas, Eddie Berganza, de DC Comics, Hernán Migoya, de Glénat, mis compañeros dibujeros Guillermo Ortego, Vicente Cifuentes, Guillem Marí, Paco Díaz y Belatz.
